Hi, thanks for coming here.
People call me little powerplant, Björk of virtual worlds or pixie. What they tend to neglect ist my scary Terminator face. Or my Krampus spirit. They have NO idea...
My dream to become an astro/cosmonaut and/or to enter parallel universes as a quantum physician has not come true (yet). Instead of flying to the stars I got lost in the arts. I turned into a quite monstrous hybrid of video-game-art-director-turned actor.
As a proud member of the celebrated design bureau Furi Furi Company in Tokyo I was dancing in Shibuya night clubs and designing characters for Nintendo, Sega, Sony and Namco Bandai long before Google maps could prevent me from getting lost in Blade Runner land. I became Art Director for social game startups before the rise of the genre, helped to organise game industry events and researched what works for female gamers. So you can call me Dr Babsi.
An art project with a Syrian cosmonaut and a few launched mobile apps later I have reached a turning point: it is not enough to DRAW characters, one must BECOME characters! To that end, I have graduated from an intense, little boutique acting school in London, performing Shakespeare on West End stages, starring in music videos, howling like a wolf in Hollywood blockbusters and writing my first immersive plays.
With that new toolkit on-board I'm moving on from designing virtual worlds to creating drama-enriched content for the virtual reality. With my new VR company entreZ I'm building a twinkling rainbow bridge between the two worlds. In my first VR drama you can work as fellow particle physician with me for the survival of our species in an underground lab at CERN.
I love music.
I must dance.
